This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. It sets no cookies at all. Your theme choice is kept in your browser's storage, not in a cookie.

Analytics are aggregate and cookieless.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, the site stores your email address, the time you consented, the confirmation state, and where you signed up (for example "footer"). It uses double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm by email, and the confirmation link works for 48 hours. Unconfirmed addresses are deleted after seven days. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, use the contact form.

Contact form

A message is stored with the name and email you choose to give, so it can be answered. No IP addresses, user agents, or referrers are stored. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots; it loads only when you start filling in a form. Rate limiting uses a keyed hash of your IP address that changes daily and expires after an hour; the address itself is never stored.

Comments

Comments use Giscus, which requires a GitHub account and is governed by GitHub's terms.

Videos and gated files

Large videos and gated files are served from Cloudflare. YouTube videos load from YouTube only after you press play.
